Medieval II: Total War

So, I just bought this game with a gift card I got from my birthday a couple of weeks ago, and I must say that I am addicted. I had played the demo, which only included afew Historical battles. So, I immediately assumed the complete game was just battles. When I found out there was more management to it, I was a little disappointed. But, managing my empire is my favorite part of the game. I have played the the original with England and France, and did not do very well. Then, I installed the Brittania Expansion, played as Scotland, and did amazing. I have not played the other 3 expansions yet. Does anyone else here love to play this game?

I like the game an gave it pretty good, the expansions are okay too. I only have playe it because my brother has the game and the kingdoms expansions. I like playing ans the Spanish against the myans(?) the most.

It's an excellent game though for me nothing matched the amazingness of the first in the series but then I'd never played anything like that before and the subject was a bit more obscure. Has anyone tried any of the mods out there, there're quite a few great ones.

I do the same thing. I have only ever beat the Crusade and Britannia campaigns. I have never finished the original game Campaign or the Teutonic Order and the American Campaign.
