Dennimator Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Yesterday I was bored and found some train parts in one of my parts bins, so I decided to make a steam engine MOC. It actually came out better than I thought it would. Here´s some pics: The brown pieces will be replaced by black ones. (Anyone have 4 of´em for trade?) Please tell me what you think! Best regards Dennimator Quote
Pickerel Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 That looks great! Very detailed! I can't really come up with anything to criticize except for the lack of color. Does it fit on the official train-tracks? Way better than I could have done! ~Pickerel Quote

What do you mean with lack of color? Some steam engines were totally black. (If you mean the bottom, those parts only exist in black.) Yes, it does fit on the tracks. Quote
Guss Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 that's a nice moc! I like it shape^^ I also like the front "brown" I don't really think you need to replace it by a black one^^ Quote
eti Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Very nice, i like the shape. Nice classic train feel to it. I actually like the brown color, too, even though those were black in reality. I wouldn't change that! Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I really like the "classic train" look of the engine. The round boiler pieces work perfectly, a design that I've always had difficulty with. The size of this reminds me of Lego's Classic Train 3225, and would make a good narrow gauge mining engine. Nice job! Quote

OK, I´ll maybe keep it brown, I´ll get the black pieces and post it here for comparison. I´ll maybe even start a poll. Quote
