Here is a chairlift that I made about half a year ago, but I never took video of my camera. It works on an old 9V motor and 9V transformator.

that's very very well done ! I love it^^ I made something like it when I was a child ( way smaller and badly done ) but I had to make it turn with the hand^^

How well does it hold and move minifigs?

Wonderful idea to create a LEGO chair-lift! And it even works!

But I have the same question as 3D Brickthing: What would happen if you put a minifig on the chair? Does it still work then or would the chair be too heavy? Would the rope where the chair is fixed hang downwards too much?

If you put the minifig on the chair it still worked, but I can't show you because I took it apart.

Maybe I will build a better one this year. :P
