The XF-91 'Boartooth' is the Jackrabbit's big brother. At the cost of a bit of agility it gains a lot in firepower, with four missile tubes under the fuselage, two photon torpedo mounts, and two V9-M heavy laser cannons. While it may not be as pretty or cute as the Jackrabbit, it remains extremely effective and menacing in combat.

I built this ship because I felt like it. I know the dark gray area is a bit lumpy, but there's a bunch of offsets and gaps in the frame so it was hard to even get this far.

*Apologizes for mixing gray and bley*

The overhanging tooth on the nose is where this fighter gets it's nickname from.

Top view. This time, a minifig can fit nice and snug in the cockpit.

That's all, folks! What do you think of it?

Hmm. Depending on what angle you look at it, this looks like two seperate fighters. From the side, it looks to be more of a light, scout fighter. But then in the last pic, from above, it does look thicker and more powerful. Maybe if you gave it a thicker cockpit? A payload? Bigger "jackrabbit ears" in the back?

Otherwise, I like how this looks. I'm not so sure about the spikes, but the cannons are well built and the top view is just

Thanks for the comments!

And I never noticed it looked more heavy-duty from the top. Thanks for pointing that out.

And I might add bigger tailfins, that's a good idea, but I'll probably never do a new cockpit.

nice design ! remind me some F zero ship I don't know why, but that's very well done ! I just don't like how you did the " reactor" behind ^^ everything else is nice! ( even mixing blue and grey !^^ )

A very well-defined and 'realistic' looking craft indeed, with these massive wings, that birdbeak-like front and the distinct engine.
