They slaughtered him for no reason.... anyway, I was always told (in stories passed down, blah blah blah) that there were traitors in that castle, and that the priest was protected from being killed at night by Him. Perhaps Alexander has the same blessing? Come on guys, we have to cast a vote- if we don't commit ourselves today, the next attacker might not miss.

I need to look over all the evidence and both days again. Perhaps I have been too distracting with my theories. What are everyone else's thoughts/analysis of the evidence? Inside the church was Alexander the Priest. Satisfied with his work, he had returned to the church. He hadn't heard the door open... What work was Alexander satisfied with? What work was Alexander tending to in the middle of the night? Witchcraft perhaps? The last to turn up were Miguel, Martinus... Clearly one of these men is Alexander's attacker as Martinus is right, the sillhouette is bald and so are both of these men. Perhaps the one who wasn't the attacker is the torturer... Bernard, which man do you trust more? Martinus or Miguel?

There is no evidence pointing towards me! Me going into a church to pray with two other people is not evidence! But, if he's the attacker and I'm right about Alexander, then we are getting rid of a powerful townsperson who can help rid us of the witches. However, if I'm wrong killing Martinus would certainly reveal a lot. And there's that incessant OOC and inability use the quote button. If he is the torturer or the night attacker, it will be revealed when he dies whose side he was one and that can get us moving in the right direction. If I were Martinus I would've voted for me or Sergio to get momentum moving towards someone else, which he hasn't done which makes me think he could be innocent. Maybe if the votes get higher, he'll reveal why he was late to the town square. I think you can infer a lot from people's actions and he has acted pretty shady. People are inferring that I'm a witch from my actions, though and that's not correct. I think I'm pretty good at reading people's tactics. For example, guilty people usually change their tactics when they are called out on their tactics like several people have done so far in this day... I'm curious to see where Martinus's loyalties lie. If he is the attacker and a witch, most of my suspicions will be gone and I'll have to regroup and re-analyze. If he's an innocent townsperson and a vigilante attacker, I'll be more suspicious of the people I am already suspicious of. If he's a serial killer, then good riddance. I'm worried about what Alexander was so proud of-the work he did in the middle of the night, but I believe killing Marinuts will tell us a lot. Marinuts? That's funny. I'm keeping it. However, if he is the torturer we will have brand new scenarios to worry about. I wonder how he will react if we get close to lynching him... For some reason, in the game ... of life, I'm always entrusted with protecting people who desperately need it. I shall say no more, unless others wish to discuss what they spend their nights doing. I'm not so sure we aren't being misled on that, and I am reminded of my ancient history. Once upon a time, a loyal General named Spencer killed a man who he believed to be a traitor. He was wrong. He died when the rest of the loyal citizens found out, thinking him to be evil, which he wasn't. Net loss: 2 loyal citizens. It was a fine day for the evil forces and a great loss for good. We need to be cautious of such trickery. For this reason, I cannot place the deciding vote for Martinus. I have no seen actual evidence, though I will admit that the suspicion is there. I will continue to pray on the subject and hope that thinks will become clear by lunch or dinner. And I'm starved... Did someone mention pie? As for the 'torture'... I suspect it was someone making an official inquiry into his loyalty, if you catch my drift. If not, perhaps the witches were trying to turn him? It really doesn't matter, the witches will probably get me tonight. I am probably one of the most important players in the game. I investigate people overnight and tell the inquisitor who they really are (I'm pretty sure they can't lie being under such pain). There's a catch, however, I forget what I did that night. (i.e. IRL I never really know.) For example, (assuming I I tortured Bernard) now the inquisitor knows what role Bernard plays. I were a ninja wrap concealing myself. My eyes may be visible making me identifiable, although I've never seen myself torturing someone so I'm not really sure. Any questions for the man who's probably dieing in less than 48 hours (game time)? Dead man Martinus says goodbye!
