I did, however, have the November store calendar and it says from Nov 17-19, (some) Lego stores will have the new city sets. I asked an employee if these sets will be in stock/on sale and she said it will be (inventory varies by store). Anyone out there who can confirm this? If this is so, I can see an early (Lego) Christmas/Holiday Season for all of us. Quote

That is correct... the supposedly '09 City Sets. I, myself am surprised that some (if not all) is being released this year. Once more, can someone please confirm? No other special mention, except for the City sets... although I've seen the SW Republic Fighter Tank at Target yesterday (Sunday). Also, an employee at my local Lego store said they already received their inventory of RFTs but were not suppose to put it out on the floor until a certain date (can't remember when though). Quote

I bet there will be a supplemental catalog (one of those smaller ones) that will be mailed out in late Nov/early Dec. Any of you have the same feeling? Maybe then we'll see some of the new sets slated for early next year. Quote

In the U.S., it's been a common pattern for years now for the "beginning of the year" sets to be available in retail roughly around Thanksgiving weekend. TLC would be foolish to release a bunch of new products the week AFTER Christmas. Quote
