For my next mosaics I have plenty of ideas on what to make into a mosaic but I do not have any 48x48 baseboards. Before I go any further I would like to get something straight By NO means does this mean I want to purchase one of a member. I would however like to hear from anyone who knows where I can purchase them preferably at bellow £5 and to be able to ship to the UK. Before I get the obvious responce of "Try bricklink" I have looked and I can not get more than one from the same shop for under £10.

Thanks.

If this topic is in the wrong place or if there is anything else wrong with it I apologize in advance.

yes, and "King jouet" here in switzerland too.. but at approximately 17Chf (exactly the s@h price) that's quite expensive!

Amazon have them for £5.98 and they do free shipping on anything over £5 ... I think that's about as good as you're going to get ?!

Yes I have seen Amazon and it is an option to consider, the only other thing that has come to my mind is to find a coupon for legoshop and use it when buying the baseboards.

I can see it at $12.99 on amazon, I can't buy by internet right now, but that's cheaper than on the shop, so when I'll be able to buy it, I'll do, thanks Big pete ^^

S@H is £6.99 start price and they charge for shipping. Voucher codes in the UK seem few and far between, so I think you might be waiting a while.

I have bought baseplates and other stuff through Amazon.com and I have a very good experience with them, do know that, depending on the country you live in, you might better send an email first about the S&H rates, they are often higher then you think, and the information page about it looks cluthered and "unhandy" if you understand what I mean...

Bricklink sellers are often cheaper then TLC as well, since some of them have large discounts themselves and live in lands where Lego is cheaper then yours.

Do you need to get it off the internet? Because in Canberra you can walk into Toys R' Us or various department stores and buy them for around $16.50 AUD. That equates to in GBP: £6.57.

They're $14.99 here in the US, but recently they went on sale for #8.99, and I got 4 of them.

But yeah, Amazon sounds like the best option for your.

The only coupon I have found is free shipping ... might be useful on larger orders.
