Front Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Here is some new mechs I made the last couple of days. The design philosophy was to put as many bricks as possible on the galidor bricks They are quite heavy, but sturdy and if falling down from a table, they will mostly only fall apart in the joints, which quickly snap together again. The pictures show the parade showing of the new mechs, which will make the humans suffer and lose in 2010. The grey one, probably the heaviest. A slightly smaller red one, not as tall a body and feets (sorry, the shape may be hard to see with the black background, depending on your monitor calibration). Finally a yellow one, as tall as the grey, but not nearly as sturdy. There is no joints in the body, that might be my next project. I would like it to like be flexible a bit like a human spine. zero1312 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Impressive, they certainly look menacing. Quote
Guss Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 they're awesome ! I especially like the grey one! Quote
slimninj4 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Great mechs. Grey is the best and love the hands. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 My favourite is yellow as I think it looks the best and it contrasts really well with the black. I also love the hands on it which look really sweet. Quote
Dr. X Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Those are wicked, I LOVE the yellow and gray ones. These certainly look much, much better than the spindly robots in the official line. Nice job. Quote
Zorro Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Your Mechs look very good, Front. There is no joints in the body, that might be my next project. I would like it to like be flexible a bit like a human spine. Well, that would be nice, although difficult. I await to see if you can get it done... A from me anyway. Quote
Asuka Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 A fine and very interesting work. Although the mechs look heavy and beefy they also came with a great and almost fractal look due to the clever scheming and the rich amount of details. Quote
