While I am certain that the incidence of Troopers with Commander Cody Helmets are merely MOCs. One of the sellers is making a bold claim that these will be found in the 2009 battle packs. I doubt this, but given the multiple listings of these clones in recent times there might be some credence to what has been said. Auction one. Auction two. Auction three. Any thoughts or ideas? Those seller have little knowledge about the item that they are selling, this clones are from some sort of LEGO activity, I'm not sure, is for the breaking records or gives away during the launch of Clone Wars movie. These clones were given away in a couple ways. 1. The Clone wars building contest- lego stores had building contests, the person who made up the most clones in 1 minute got 1 free clone to take and keep. 2. TLC gave away 40,000 of these clones to raise money for charities 3.I'm not sure but i think these clones were given away in a UK magazine (or were they normal white clone?) - not sure on that one though Quote

In the charity clone trooper build only plain white clones were used. So the clones in these auctions are from somewhere else. Did you know that if you went to the most popular stickied message in the Eurobricks Star Wars Forum, on it's very first page, you'd find pictures of it that had been out for several months? Heh, but no, really. Eurobricks gets a lot of news and stuff right away after it is put online. You'll find that out about this place. It it has to do with lego and it's online, it is very likely here. Quote
