pr0visorak Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 This looks like an interesting entry Zorro! Here are some tips for you mate... 1)The blue lamp looks a bit weird for a prison place and it looks quite future looking! Would you mind changing the lamp to a different style and color? That would be great 2)Can you include a few more figures like the other guard because you said guards and maybe the judge luaghing cruely at him? 3)Nice use of grey but can you make it more realistic bu addind dirt to it or changing some bricks to brown or black. 4)Can you add more tools to the barrel? It looks plain from my point of view. Thats all and may you have the love and care of lady luck! :pir-skull: Quote
oDDerFisken Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Zorro it's a masterpiece in cruelty! It's a simpel and yet unbelieveable cruel way to kill people. The pirate looks clearly unpleased. I think I'd do the same in that situation. The soldier almost looks like he's enjoying it. How evil :pir-skull: Possible improvements I know it's difficult, but I would add a soldier guarding the prisoner. he can escape as far as I can see. If he attacks the mason with the hammer He's free to go. But I know there's a very little room there. so maybe you could make him sit intop of the MOC. With a gun in his lap. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On of my favourites for the category. Keep up the great work and good luck. Quote
Zorro Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 Improved version! - Two soldiers instead of one, and they are Spanish now because the colors are much better this way. - Added more building materials. - Added some subtile colored bricks... - Added a snake. - Brown lantern instead of blue. More pics will be added tomorrow! I hope you like it. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Much better Zorro! I love all of the little added details, like better color on the lantern and adding a snake. Nice little pathway as well, I think changing the non-immured minifigs to armada soldiers was a very wise move. Great work! Quote
