Dome techniques?

As you may know, I'm building a series of Brickenshoal MoCs, which I hope to have eventually become like a Lego Assassin's Creed town. One future project I'd like to embark on is building a mosque for it. So I'd like to know - do you have any good dome techniques to share?

If you want a brickbuilt solution though, I'm not sure, but perhaps you should look at the instructions for the Taj Mahal (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3)
