Faramir Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 I called that number... all I got was some old guy cursing at me in Swedish Very nice MOC! Very well built and very Fabuland-y. I also like that you were able to keep the color scheme throughout. The only suggestion that I could make would be to put all red slopes along the roof, if you have any. It would give it more of a full, finished feel. I'd buy that apartment! Maybe I should call that number again... Quote
Lego12 Posted October 11, 2008 Author Posted October 11, 2008 Thank you! I don't have any more red slopes, thats why it looks unfinished. That old guy was me! The black guy is supposed to be Dragonator, for those of you who don't know. Quote
Bob Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 (edited) Hmmm...Nice apartment, i like the use of all the Fabuland Parts. Hence a Fabuland Apartment. Nice Job! Even if the real estate agents are mean. Edited October 14, 2008 by Bob the Construction Man Quote
Dragonator Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Hey look, there's me! Glad to see I'm being my normal happy, cheerful self. I can't wait until I can start mocking you again. Bring on MCII I say, it's getting a bit boring, locked in this castle. Well you can show off your new manor house in a few days, once I upload the pictures. Yay! nice house..... and strange black guy Who are you calling strange, kitty cat? I eat orange fur balls for breakfast. Don't mind him, he doesn't mean it. Ah, yes I do. Shut it. Oh, right, what's the point in this thread? Oh, look, a house. Sorry, were we interrupting you? No, don't mind us. We'll just be leaving. Oh, but I must comment on this house first... Hey, nice work. I think you've done really well with this. It has a very "classic" feeling to it, which I like a lot, and the simplicity fits in well with the Fabuland theme. I love the toilet, that looks pretty cool. I do think the roof area could do with a little more work though, perhaps finishing it off with some more red roof tiles like Faramir suggested. Still, the overall model is great. Man I love Fabuland. I need to try my hand at building some Fabuland stuff sometime... Quote
Lego12 Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 Thanks for the comment Dragonator! I wanted to base it on two colors, and I chose yellow and red, and a little bit of green. Now it looks like a Taco! Quote
VBBN Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I called that number and was re-directed to a Minifigure implants office. Nice job. The only critism I have is the two different types of windows being used. But it looks good none the less. The colorscheme looks pretty even. And anything with Fabuland is cool as well. VBBN Quote
Lego12 Posted November 7, 2008 Author Posted November 7, 2008 Thanks for the comment VBBN. I'm also wondering if anyone in the Fabuland Builders Guild could give me some tips. Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Hey. I voted 4, because I don't know much about fabuland building as it's not my forte. However I like this building. It sort of has that fabuland fantasy feel about it. I could probably build a fabuland MOC someday. I'm not sure though... Well done! Quote
Hewman Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I gave it a 4. I love some of the details but would have liked to have seen a few Fabuland windows in it to give it that full Fabuland feel. Quote
samthelegoman1 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Give it a more "Fabuland Housewives" type feeling with tiles and nicer furniture! Other than that, it looks great! Quote
Lego12 Posted November 12, 2008 Author Posted November 12, 2008 I just saw these comments.....sorry! I really appreciate your comments, but I don't have many Fabuland windows..... Quote
Lego Parrot Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 That's a real nice Fabuland building. Unfortunately, I don't have any Fabuland stuff. Pesky Dragonator, he always gets in the way! Quote
