knights are (a lot) below Fellows i'm afraid...You can't even become a fellow by number of posts...

Its quite obvious that you (and others) have been posting in nearly every topic. In fact, its hard to find a topic where you haven't been the first to reply. Luckily, you already know you can't just become a fellow, so hopefully your posting will start to decrease. And I would just like to say congrats to Erdbeeries1, who recently became a Fellow.

Congratulations Erdbeeries1! You become a Fellow by posting and commenting sensibly and well not by posting loads. By the way I am not saying that you do. You also won't become one by being a member for a long time either. I am also wondering what happens if you have to many badges to fit? When you go on to your account page by clicking on your user name there are places for 3 special tags eg Reviewers academy, Ambassadors group, what happens if you have more than 3? or is the max 3? I don't think anyone has that many anyway though. :look:

I post a lot as well, but that is mainly due to the fact I am online (and "on forum") for multiple hours (multi-multiple hours actually) a day because I am learning online (bachelor Social Security)and the fact I fell in love with Lego, so I go to the forum every 5 minutes  .

Boy, I am spending way too much time here...

I don't care (much) about ranks, after all: respect is something you must deserve, not be granted for just posting a lot !

I never post anything in a topic that doesn't interest me, and always follow the rules that you should always contribute with an honest opinion and/or (preferrably fresh) information and that you shouldn't post anything useless like: "I like this, it is cool, I want to buy it". And I always try to post more then one or two short sentences.

To the staff: If there is something wrong with my posts or if I post too much, please tell me.

I marked some sentences because I think that everyone should know them.

ImperialShadows has 4.

Oh Ok I always wondered about this question but I guessed you had to be higher ranked or something...

Actually, I have 5, but there's only room for 4. They're just a sign of participation in various things, and flags are, as previously stated, a reward for earning admission into the Fellowship.

In my case, it's one for the Fabuland Builder's Guild, one as a teacher in the Reviewer's Academy, one for being a customizer in the Minifig Customization Workshop and the flag.

It isn't a guarantee of anything, but participation in the site can lead to such things. If those interest people, they might try to get involved and see what happens.

Just a small advice for all of you, don't ever ask for these kind of rewards, titles, ranks or whatever. It will come to you, when "they" think you are ready to have one. Otherwise, if you pester them for one, I am sure they will have some "interesting" treatment for you.

Well, this sounds a lot like the omertà:

"If you dare speak of us or ask the wrong questions, you will face the consequences."

"Never ask us to join us, we select our new members ourselves, only the ones that have proven themselves shall be worthy..."

No, I think this is the correct way to obtain such "possesions", I don't really understand why so many people want them that badly.

Think of this: if you finaly receive them...what then? Then you can retire and die in peace because you reached your life goal?

He he, the only reason I see for "climbing up", is the fact more forums (forae) might open for you, and that I REALLy like !

I like the whole earning thing, although I don't see why people make such a fuss. It's not as though you really get any benefits. Other than editing other's posts and being "in control". This is a forum, and the idea of a forum is to share your opinion with people of similar interests. And that you can do as a staff member, a fellow or a vassel.

Wouldn't you like to be in control  . Ego tag sounds pretty awesome if you ask me.

Guys, let's keep this topic within boundaries. I don't think it will be healthy to discuss a wide possible arrays of new tags to be introduced in EB. :classic:

Ok,I understand!I won't do it again :sadnew:

Cheer up! You are doing fine.

I am still waiting for your next review inside the academy.

I must say, that one would be pretty sweet. The thing is though, all of us who should have grown out of LEGO years ago must have strong egos to cop all the crap that gets thrown at us, so you would have to give everyone on the forum an ego tag.

A thick head also helps!

The question has been answered, so this topic has forfilled it's need.

I'm closing this up.
