Governor Mister Phes Posted September 2, 2005 Governor Posted September 2, 2005 I've been watching some local Viking LEGO eBay auctions and wondering if the price they're reaching is suitable... LEGO S@H prices don't include postage and is conversion of the Australia price into US dollars, NOT they are in the country of that currency: Vikings Fafnir Fortress VS The Fafnir Dragon S@H....... AU$119.95 or US$90.65 or Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Normal prices are: fortress: 80 euros (good deal) longboat: 60 euros (no good deal) catapult: 20 euros (no good deal) small boat: 10 euros (way to expensive) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 2, 2005 Author Governor Posted September 2, 2005 Excellent Kikuichimonji! You're assisting me in my market research. You see I'm observing these auctions to see how much people are willing to pay for them, and if I notice a trend I might use it to my advantage. For example Viking Boat Against the Kraken Monster sold for over twice as much as it costs on S@H. So it people on eBay and stupid enough to continually do that, I might get myself a few of these and make my eBay selling debut and make some $$ :^D Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Ahhhhhhhh Phes, pirate methods for viking trades :D Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted September 3, 2005 Author Governor Posted September 3, 2005 Yes, that always seems to be the case. I'd never buy a set off BrickLink but its great for buying parts. Exactly which demograph did you get these prices from? Was it just one region or world wide? Quote
snefroe Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 i love bricklink. i only buy parts there and thery'e always cheaper than what i find on ebay. sets might be more expensive, tho... but for me it's ideal. for instance, i need tracks for my tank. the only way these days to get tracks is to buy the crawler. Wham! 170 Quote
