DJ Force Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Planning on buying the Town Plan? Go to Amazon.de! http://www.amazon.de/LEGO-10184-Jahre-Town...98001_as_img_1/ The offer 30 Euros discount on this marvellous set!
Lego12 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Wow! That's a great deal! I would get it but, I already have one and I'm not from Europe. Lego12
Holodoc Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Interesting to see it´s on 20% again. I wanted to buy one for 119,97€ on monday but Amazon had changed the price to 139,49€ (meaning 7% off). At this price I refused and bought the amazing creator ferry 4997 only. Now I´m tempted again. I will have to sleep over that.
DJ Force Posted October 10, 2008 Author Posted October 10, 2008 Yeah, same here. I´m really tempted, but to be honest I don´t have the space for more lego sets. Yesterday I had to get rid of all the double boxes of my Exo-Force sets, since my wife just started collecting castles now.
brickzone Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Town Plan was at €129.99 on S@H here in Ireland, which was nice (I bought one soon after it came out). However, this notice has me wondering about the possibility of ordering Lego in the future from amazon.de. It would seem shipping charges to Ireland are about the same as from the UK. I'm not that great at navigating around in German or figuring it all out (12 years since I finished 4 years studying German) - maybe toys are not available to ship to Ireland and only things like books, dvds etc. can be.
Zorro Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Seems to be cheap, I am certain I couldn't find the Town under 130 euros here in Belgium. The larger the sets are, the more expensive (then other European countries) they seem to be, one can buy the smaller sets, like the impulse sets very cheap here, so I don't really understand the reasons behind it. It must be so that some/many sets just aren't being sold enough here, Belgium is quite small after all.
