Captain Green Hair Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Edit by Hinckley: Warning! What you are about to read is a JOKE! That and, Hinckley is a megablock! 60,000 is a lot of money, i wonder how much bricks went in.... Quote
Teddy Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 (edited) 60,000 is a lot of money, i wonder how much bricks went in.... Hmm that doesn't even include shipping costs. educated guess: 60,000 with 50% overhead costs so 30,000 on bricks? That would equal 300,000 bricks at 10 bricks per dollar? hmm 300,000 is a bit much for a single sculpture out of regular bricks, isnt it? So overhead is probably a larger chunk out of the cost, I guess. Kind regards, Teddy Edited October 8, 2008 by Teddy Quote
Athos Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Now that is a MOC and a half. Beyond getting the supply of bricks, though, I don't imagine it would be all that overly difficult to do something like that up yourself. Well the supply and the time consumption... Steve Quote

CP5670 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 (edited) The dollar has actually gotten somewhat stronger lately. I'm thinking of entering a few European ebay set auctions while it lasts. Edited October 10, 2008 by CP5670 Quote
