legobear Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 I am wondering if the Tiara pieces are new or old because I just saw this on brickshelf. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3441347 Quote
Sir Dillon Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 It's a Belville piece that first appeared in 2000, according to Bricklink. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=tiara Quote
legobear Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 Ahhh I see, so the Queen's tiara is old as well then. Thanks Dillon Quote
Joebot Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Ahhh I see, so the Queen's tiara is old as well then. Thanks Dillon Yep, as Sir Dillon noted, it's a Belville piece. My daughter has a bunch of them. This is the first time I can remember it being used with a mini-fig though. I'm curious to see how it's attached. The tiara has a pin on the bottom (the same size as the old plumes), so I assume there's a hole in the back of the hair, kinda like the old Native American hair piece, where you could plug in the feather. It looks nice with the tiara, but I wonder how it looks without it?? Quote

Sir Dillon Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Hey Skorpius, I believe Joebot is actually referring to this picture. Quote
Lego12 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I neverm thought that the tiara was a new piece. Thanks for bringing that up! Quote
Thomas B. Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I've never seen one of those. I want one of them! Quote
