I'm really happy with the result and detail, however, it doesn't show that well on the picture.

I know, but on the other hand, I want it to fit in with the other Wookie and Chewbacka, and they don't really have the best paintjob ther is. They both have three colors if I'm not mistaking, mine has five colors.

I also need a good weapon for him.

The original Lego Wookies arent that great indeed. But this one is, I find it has enough colors and people should remember its a magnified pic of the Wookie. IMHO: If you got to see it on legoscale, I think you would be amazed by its details.

Wow! Tarful so on! My only complaint is his lack of a neck. The other wookie heads were slightly taller than the average fig, but he looks the same size. Great job on the detail and everything else!
