Here's a simple docking pier for ships of the Tabletown Navy - part of my display at the Brickish Association's event at the STEAM museum on 04-05/10/08.

I thought that the ships on their own would look a little dull, and I had some spare Naval ratings who weren't assigned to any of the vessels, so they are here.

Two ships are docked and undergoing resupply, whilst another two ships leave port for their patrol.

its very nice but i would consider adding a small building at the end for weapons storage or a small office for keeping track of all supplies going out to the ships and also mod the crane so the chain is going out farther.other than that it looks great

looks nice, just miss a base but I think you're building it for the event you're going to show this, I'm impatient to see the final result !

This is basically going to be on a round table - so there won't be much else with it. Really, it's just a little bit of backdrop to show off the ships themselves, so I'm not going over the top with it.

The other round table will have the Tabletown Army - again, that has a small barracks facade to give the impression that there's something there, but the vehicles and the troops are the main attraction.

I anticipate that as time goes on, I'll be able to invest more money in background scenery, but for now I'm concentrating on the vehicles themselves. This is only my third display in my first year of attending these events, so I'm taking it slow and gradually building up.

Nice display mate, you seemed to have captured a certain "busyness" [sic] to the pier which is only achieveable with good minifig placement. It seems easy, and people don't often comment on it, but just thought I'd let you know that I appreciate the effort!

The boats are incredibly detailed, and will definitely steal the show wherever you're presenting this. Good work.
