evancelt Posted July 19 Posted July 19 "Redwall Abbey" A Redwall Abbey MOC built in sand red. I've made a number of versions of Redwall over the years, but it's been a dream to use the out-of-production sand red color for the walls. These are some photos of the current iteration as displayed at Albuquerque Brick Convention 2026. The background is made using bricks at a 45 degree angle, which made for some fun cloud shapes. Feuer Zug Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Good looking diorama. That's a lot of sand red parts. NPU on the walls to create texture. Love the automotive grille over the doorway. Quote
JamesBuildsBrix Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Love Redwall! Also great build. I really like the bridge and agree with Feuer Zug that you did some great NPU on the wall. The backdrop being at 45 degrees is a nice touch for the clouds. Quote
EWay Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Ah sand red, if only they would bring it back! Looks great! For a moment I wondered, why would you put yourself through that with the sky... then I remembered, if I had thought to do it, for no reason at all, I too would have put myself through it :D Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Really beautiful, characters with animal heads always make a certain impression... everything becomes magical! Quote
General Magma Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago This is great! Are those sand red parts all LEGO? Quote
