Adam Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Recently, on a trip to Morocco, I bought a fez. I it! It's the coolest hat I've ever worn, and I've worn it every day since I bought it, about three weeks ago. Has anyone encountered a LEGO fez that a minifigure could wear? I'm going to make my sigfig, and it must have a fez! Quote
Axle Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I'm sorry, Adam, but they don't make Fezs. The closest is this backwards: (No, not the set, the mans hat on backwards!) But it works well! Quote
Adam Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 No! There must be something! Maybe I'll do it custom, because that hat backwards cannot have a tassle. Any other suggestions? Pleeeease? Quote
jp-30 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Kam's made one (for his Sallah minifig). Though it doesn't appear to be on sale from his site yet. Gallery http://www.fineclonier.com Quote

Inertia Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Thanks! Though it seems a little big... You could always make one using sculpey... Then paint it red. The Brickforge Arabian helmet might work without the turban part, but I'm not sure... Quote
Squeaker Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 (edited) Joey Lock: Hola, ¿Puede usted ayudarme a cabo?(Hello, Can you help me out?) I have recently aqquired a Sombrero and I love it, Ive been wearing it for 2 whole days I was wondering how do create one in Lego, Its there already one? Just kidding, but I think your best bet might be sculpty - put a small piece of wire in a loop at the top and tie a yellow thread to the top after curing. A fez is a rather simple shape, so it shouldn't be too hard as long as you have the right tools. Edited September 13, 2008 by Squeaker Quote
Pencoin Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 There isn't an offical one yet but stay tuned, there may be on in a upcoming Indy set. Quote
The Rancor Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 There isn't an offical one yet but stay tuned, there may be on in a upcoming Indy set. That would be good, but if there was, it would be released next Summer Quote
Bobskink Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 isn't this the most easy lego accesory to make yourself? Quote
SlyOwl Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 We've had a discussion about this before here. There's a lot of good methods in there. Kam's made one (for his Sallah minifig). Though it doesn't appear to be on sale from his site yet. It looks suspiciously like a jelly-tot Quote

I didn't notice that; probably because I'd of expected it to be in the Minfigure Customisation Workshop, not the History and Adventure forum. So far, I think that the best idea I've seen is perhaps the rubber bands, but I've decided to go custom. Thanks, everyone! Quote
1devils1 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Cut the stem off one of these. - There will be a hole left for some black cotton Quote
El Bucanero Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 I made a fez like this: It's a red lever piece with a black piece of string. Quote
samthelegoman1 Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Looks a little small, though. Quote
