keetong Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I got a problem. I don't have heaps of pirate stuff like some of you but I've started to get intristed in it. I was wondering, does anyone know peices that fit into the pirate theme? I got every castle set this year and heaps of star wars sets and I don't mind buying any sets this year that might have pieces that fit into the theme. I hope this helps you. Quote

Guss Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I think Castle pieces and some star-wars pieces, brown pieces from some star wars vehicles can makes some wooden stuffs, and the castle can gives some walls / bricks / weapons , even some masts and hulls with the orcs boats. Your boat is fine as is, there are a few boats that actually have their sails like that. Perhaps a few custom sails over the troll sails and plunk a few pirates aboard to pillage and plunder. Pirates would have used a small liferaft if that was all they could get their hands on. Although Lego pirates seem to be a bit picky and usually end up with better ships than the navy..... If I were you, I wouldn't spend your money on lego to make pirate things with this year, but I would wait until next year when you can get pirate specific pieces. Just an idea.
