Hello builders,

I was itching to build something minifig-scale, so I came up with this modular apartment complex. It's centered around a small parking lot with two carports -- I felt that Lego City could use some more parking options.

The layout is loosely based on a friend's apartment in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco. I tried to add a few SF touches (hippies with smartphones! e-scooters! tech bros walking dogs! rainbow crosswalks!) It's also intentionally a little rough around the edges. An homage to the urban... why not celebrate the grit a little bit? Tree roots taking over sidewalks, seagulls stealing pretzels, discarded cans, etc.

Fun fact, the front of the building's color is Light Yellow, used in the theme Island Xtreme Stunts. I consumed my entire stash of this color for this build.

Thanks for taking a look! Have a wonderful day.
