Greetings!

Thought I'd share this series of mini builds about the evolution of the prosthetic heart valve.

This topic is near and dear to my heart (pun intended) as I am a medical device engineer and have worked on valves of the 3rd and 4th type.

The tissue leaflets are made with minifig capes, which turned out to be perfect for creating the thin, scalloped shape!
