msk6003 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 (edited) Looks like 4WD I think? Structure between front wheel looks to complicate if it has just steering only. And seems like use 4.5L axle on front wheel so it may be 4WD.  New parts 89679 panel 1x2 'comma' in lime is new Not sure but looks like new 11478 half thick beam 5L with 2 axle hole in lime is new <- This will be wrong. 32065 half thick beam 7L in lime is new Rare parts 15458 panel 3x11 in lime - last release is 2022, 15 in 3 set 32449  Technic Beam 1 x 4 Thin - last release is 2023, 15 in 7 set 2389 & 2387 panel 2x3 triangle #7 and #8 in lime - last release is 2023, 8 in 1 set 71682 panel 2x3 in lime - last release is 2024, 20 in 3 set 19478 pneumatic cylinder 2x11 in DBG - last release is 2024, 8 in 3 set 32017 liftarm 5L thin without axle hole in lime - last release is 2002, 6 in 1 set. I don't know which connector used on door handle. If it is 32184 Technic Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular 3L with Centre Pin Hole, is super rare(last release is 2001, 2 in 1 set). If it is 42003, Technic Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular 3L with 2 Pin Holes, it's not rare. Edited May 3 by msk6003 Quote
Auroralampinen Posted April 12 Posted April 12 (edited) Ok, this looks really cool. While it is small. It seems to have a lot of cool functions. Plus a full suspension probably a live axle suspension since i can see 2 springs on front of the front axle:). Edited April 12 by Auroralampinen Quote

R0Sch Posted April 12 Posted April 12 (edited) Here's a slightly better image quality with white background:  There are 4 shock absorbers. I think only the front is capable to do the 30° axle inclination like the real thing. Too bad it was done at this scale so no portal hubs possible. Man I really wished for another 8110 flagship. This one's only half the size of the Zetros. Edited April 12 by R0Sch Quote
Stereo Posted April 12 Posted April 12 I suppose we have to wait and see how bad the price is... I'm guessing $150 US, based on the last few pneumatic sets. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Given that there is a differential in the rear axle, there might be some new parts to allow the front axle to be have a differential and steerable at this scale. Quote
Auroralampinen Posted April 13 Posted April 13 (edited) Ok, i have notice one thing and it's these outriggers. They seem really similar to my design on the Mechatech Logging Truck. Well, i don't mind that at all that some designer at lego was probably doom scrolling on rebrickable in middle of the night and saw my moc and thought hey this compact outrigger design could work in our small unimog. It's nice to see my solution on a offical set and im now really happy that my outrigger design did go in a offical set:). And what cements my theory is that both of these outriggers use 7L beam plus both are connected on top really similary while lego uses L shaped beam the 7L beam is connected to third hole in the beam just like on my model and my model uses instead a 3L connector on top so my 7L beam is also connected to third hole. Im now really excited that my outrigger design did go in a offical set:). And i will buy the unimog because lego did use my outrigger design and i have to do outrigger comparison test to my Mechatech Logging Truck:).  One more Edit i have to go now to my important meetings. But today i will test both of these outriggers because i have the pieces for these outrigger so dont worry i will do the outrigger comparison today so stay tuned:). Edited April 13 by Auroralampinen Quote
Auroralampinen Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Ok, i camed back and looked closely of the unimog pictures and this outrigger situation did go bad to worse. Lego has completely stolen my design and i have to take action i will not let this slide. Im now really shocked that a billon dollar company/family business did stole small creators idea without any credits or licenses or premissions im shacking now and im devastaded now and really really sad😢 Quote
Rebel_Lego Posted April 13 Posted April 13 (edited) Â Well, Lego has done it before in 8071. The underlying principle of the mechanism is exactly the same as yours and as in the Unimog. See instructions page 8 of this booklet:Â https://www.lego.com/cdn/product-assets/product.bi.core.pdf/4646324.pdf Edited April 13 by Rebel_Lego Quote

Rebel_Lego Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I don't agree. It is not exactly the same, but it consists of one liftarm being the outrigger, and two liftarms providing leverage, with the upper one being the one that controls the movement. To me that looks pretty much the same as yours and the Unimog's Quote
HorcikDesigns Posted April 13 Posted April 13 (edited) @Auroralampinen I will ask one question, and you can answer. Have you got it patented anywhere?  Well, and here are couple more questions - Would someone even patent it? Are you really sure you're the first one to ever come up with this principle? When did you posted your logging truck, and how long do you think product development takes? Edited April 13 by HorcikDesigns Quote

I don't think this is concidence. Because my Mechatech Logging Truck was launched in 2025 so i think some rooky designer at lego saw my design and decided to put in the unimog. So i wont accuse anybody but only thing i wish for is for the lego to put a credits for the original creator for the outriggers design to the instructions and i would be soo happy because im a small creator and i don't like massive corporations to take my ideas without any credits:). And i always want to negociate about my stuff because it is nice to get more reconition for my created designs. For example in the Mechatech Mechadozer you can take my designed blade tilt arm and put it in your own designed bulldozer just put credits for me and i always do my best to credit original creators if i take inspiration from them or when i take they designed stuff for my models because i have seen too many times that big creator don't give credits for small original creator which is really sad:(. 9 minutes ago, Anio said: The Claas color scheme feels wrong for a Unimog. Timorzelorzworz Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Relax, it's a simple linkage outtrigger system used since the birth of the christ child. No one steals from each other. Oh no, does Lego has stolen my cab design? The idea for using the mudguard piece and for beveling the hood? Now back to reality, I think this new small Unimog is a cool surprising set, even in this color. Cab with 13 studs wide (15 with mudguards) is even taller compared to last years mid-sized trucks. Retail price should not go over 119€ for this amount of parts for beeing not 18+ set. Then we are happy. Are we? Quote
Aleh Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Finally the set I want to own! I assume the price will be not less than $150 :( Quote

msk6003 Posted April 13 Author Posted April 13 Considering angle of A piller, that thin lime 5L beam will be 32017 thin 5L without axle hole. not 11478. And it's super rare too! Last release is 2002, 6 in 1 set. Updated on main post too. Quote

Thanks & cheers. Yes, i agree and i really like this set. Because i had the 8110 unimog when i was a little kid. I got the 8110 as the 2011's christmas present and i was stoke for the motorized pneumatics they were so fun to play with oh man i have so much nostalgia for the 8110 so i will definetly buy the 42242:).
