XG BC Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) I have always liked the shape of these locomotives, tried to build one several times, but never got to the point where i was happy with one. Then i saw the fantastic 8 wide version of @Sérgio, i knew i had to try again. here is the result: Its a 1600 from the Netherlands, operated by DB-Schenker rail I built it with the bricks i had laying around, so some details are not perfect yet, i debated adding the third light but never found a way to have it look good. the fixture was always too big. its still not 100% done but its in a presentable state now the nose is more or less copied from @Sérgio, solid design and thank you a lot for the ideas! I still need to add details to the doors and stuff. if anyone has an idea on how to add the third light feel free to comment! Hope you like it! XG BC Edited March 14 by XG BC Quote
Darkkostas25 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Cool build! Nice idea with vents made from the back side of the plates. Compact and lovely engine. Give me vibes from the factory train Quote

Give me vibes from the factory train thank you! yeah the vents were a thing i used to do in older mocs aswell, and on that locomotive the vents actually stand out a tiny bit from the rest of the body so its surprisingly prototypical. 5 hours ago, zephyr1934 said: Great start on these distinctive locomotives thanks aswell! still need to add more Details when i get the time for it.
