Lord Santos Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 (edited) This was my city as of July 2008, it has received minor changes yesterday but not very important. The visible part of the city has almost every lego town/city from 1997 to 2008... Enjoy View from the Harbor (note the paradisa slide to the right?) http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/FSantos/City/p7050004.jpg The West and Central areas. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/FSantos/City/p7050004.jpg The West area(City Center). http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/FSantos/City/p7050004.jpg The Brick Line 8 meter long. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/FSantos/City/my_city.jpg The Whole City (Not visible in the photo: Coast Guard plataform and Extreme island... That is my Town... Feel free to comment and resize my giant pictures Edited September 10, 2008 by Hinckley Changed images to links. Please resize pics. Thanks-Hinckley Quote

Guss Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 wow , you got a lot of sets, and all together , it gives a nice looking town! Quote
legotrainfan Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Nice layout! You've got a lot of buildings. My problem is that I have many trains but only very few buildings. I would love to have such a town. I see that you also had problems with the road plates. I always buy the same road plates on eBay. I don't want to have a road plate mix. By the way, the first three links lead to the same pictures. The links are identical. Quote
Manta Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 What a nice layout! You have done a great job, and you should get a pat on the back from me. Unfortunately, I can't give a pat on the back through an internet connection, so just pat yourself on the back. Great job! Quote
DJ Force Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 (edited) Amazing amount of sets! There are two or three things I do´t like too much. - Your city looks too colorful and too crowded. I think it´s because of those service-sets. Hospital, FD, PD...Try to shuffle som free space around them. Some recreation, maybe a small park, something green. Right now it seems like theres "just a huge bunch of sets", but not so much a very well planned layout. - What´s with the bridge there? The wall is far too colorful. It stitches in the eyes. - Town plan is a great set, but when placing the buildings in the middle of a city instead of the border of your layout, you should MOC a backside instead of leaving it open.
