2026 Education Theme

I didn't see a thread for the new LEGO Education sets (available to the public). I figured I would start one but please let me know if there is already one that I missed.

 

Has anyone purchased these sets yet and if so, what are your initial thoughts?

I like the colors of the space/Mars mission one, but not enough to justify the purchase.

They seem like the kind of thing kid me would have been very into (having loved things like science kits as a child). But as an adult I don't really have much interest even if some of the parts are kind of cool.

I hope the minifig parts will be available on Bricks and Pieces.

I've gotten 3 out of the 4 so far.  Working on a space collab so I ordered those for some inspiration.  I ordered the big Arctic one so I could get the Duck GWP.  I haven't opened that one yet.  The sets seem like they would be really good for helping kids to get started on a specific project and then some free building to finish each build.  So there are numbered bags for each build with a bag or two of additional parts to come up with something on your own to finish the project.  The colors are nice and I'm hoping that the parts will make it to PAB online especially the minifig parts.  They are generous with some of the printed tiles.

I bought the one with the Rover because it looks awesome, and all the parts and colors seem nice. I always find trans light blue a little boring for Space, but I'm also desperate for Space. I might get the other one but I wish it had more "spaceshippy" parts.

Space collab? That sounds awesome. I was trying to gauge support for something like this in the Sci Fi forum.
