MunchKatsu Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Hello everyone! I've been obsessed with trains, particularly steam locomotives, ever since I was a toddler, but recently my fascination has transitioned to luxury steam travel in the 20th century. This is my tribute to that era: The beautiful and elegant French 241 "Mountain" Locomotive. I've designed it as it looked during the 1930s, when it was originally built. I've spent over 250 hours working on every single detail that I could. It's been designed to navigate standard R40 curves, and can be motorized with Powered UP or Power Functions. Powered UP Electrification: 0–2* Powered UP Lights 1–2* Powered UP L Motors 1–2 Powered UP Hub *Note: Adding a second set of lights and/or a second motor may require extension cable(s) and an additional hub. Power Functions Electrification: 0–2* Power Functions Lights 1–2* Power Functions L Motors 1 Power Functions IR Receiver 1 Power Functions Battery Box *Note: Adding a second set of lights and/or a second motor may require extension cable(s) and/or a switch. If you’d like to see this journey continue to your shelf, I would truly appreciate your support! Please consider leaving a vote and a comment to let me know what you think. https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-10/3984/French-241-"Mountain"-Locomotive Quote
Feuer Zug Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Great locomotive. Lots of details to accurately recreate the "Mountain". Quote
