nerdsforprez Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Its been a while since I created anything worthy of sharing, but just completed a transforming piece that mixes MC Escher's work with the visuals from the video game "Monument Valley." Fun little build! A YT video is posted below. Its much better to see it actually transform than a digital still. There are similar models online from non-Lego companies, but rest assured, this is my own design and all official Lego pieces. I estimate I used about 2,300 pieces. Quote
Elysiumfountain Posted February 10 Posted February 10 That is beautiful! So many cool perspectives, very well done! :) Quote
Toastie Posted February 10 Posted February 10 The unfolding never ends ... this is so unbelievably cool, as others said. I love Escher's work, every aspect of it. Most of my attention regarding his work is the "perpetual motion" - the true optical violation of any law of conservation of energy. I bet that when you take a photograph of your true piece of LEGO artwork at some angle, with some lighting - it will not only rightfully violate any "laws", it will dwarf them. Simply amazing. If this is something "worthy of sharing" in your universe ... in mine this is so far out of any ballpark that I need to redefine "worthy". Thank you very much for sharing! All the best Thorsten Quote
_TLG_ Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) I like Escher. This build is really nice, clean and the transormation is the cherry on the top! Edited February 11 by _TLG_ Quote

LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I didn't think it was possible to build something so complex in Lego...you proved me wrong, and the beauty of this architecture is incredible! Quote
