Pepe Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Aye Mates, here is my submission for the Bricklink Designer Program Series 10. There are some more Pictures here: https://imgur.com/a/QKgNyFS "Captain Cutlass and his crew took over the Imperial Outpost in the Bay of Plenty. Only the life of the Admiral was sparred and he is kept in the prison. The Crew is unloading supplies and treasures while fighting of sharks. Meanwhile the Captain is enjoying some rum with Anne. Rumors say that the Admiral's Daughter is trying to rescue her father." I used 1396 parts and there is a fun play feature that will launch some barrels towards any enemy kicking them right out of the gate. It also features a young Roger Dagger Redbeard when he still had both eyes, hands and legs. Set 6263 Imperial Outpost gave me some inspiration to start with. Any critique or feedback is very appreciated. Hope you enjoy it, I had a lot of fun building this, Pepe The Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I like your moc very much! Some nice details and fun scenes you have there. I like how you built the windows. We have the classic yellow and white colors but also modern parts and techniques. There's a (brick)build skull and bones, the shark attack and this time it's the admiral who escapes from the prison! If there's one part that maybe looks a bit repetitive to me, it's the ground floor with the SNOT masonry bricks. But that is just a minor nitpick. Good luck with your project! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Beautiful model. Despite its small size, the construction techniques are extremely refined: the SNOT floor, the curved staircase, the opening side of the prison! Everything is perfect and well-designed. Quote
GeoBrick Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I look forward to seeing the model from more angles once voting starts. Quote
Pepe Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 Thanks for the kind words. If you want to check out the model at BDP here is the link: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-10/4033/Bay-of-Plenty Quote
