[A visit to the barracks]
After returning from Cedrica and officially becoming a swordsman in the service of duke Wifgrir. Erdils first objective back in Dandelume was to visit the swordsmen’s barracks; to obtain his chainmail, dark red cloak, shield, and other equipment. He had already acquired his sword, which he was carrying with great pride as he waited for the gate to open and be let into the barracks.”

This is the first part of Chapter 2 for Erdils storyline, read more in the Dandelume-thread. Its also his new updated civilian look for Book IV with a new color for his beard and hair. I will post updated pictures for some earlier characters in Dandelume and also for TASK 1 armed forces, (with Erdil in full uniform) as soon as I can.

A great vignette with lots of detail.  I particularly like the foliage at the bottom of the wall, the arch for the doorway, and the drain (?) at the center of the floor.

Thanks! Yeah its supposed to be some kind of drain of sort. Was going to do a larger one actually but it looked ’off’ for some reason so I kept it small.

Very nice!  I like the high wall, with the hooded man peering down. You have made some nice use of the new double jumper arches and have some nice texture on your wall without going overboard.  The crates on the left look natural as if someone dropped them there, but I think my favorite part is the flowers. The plants and flowers are very dense and have an outstanding organic look to them. Are they all attached securely or are some hanging among the others?

Lovely vignette @T-86(swebrickLUG) and it perfectly capures the feel of an courtyard in an Avalonian castle/city. The walls feel imposing and imposible to scale and the details are great.

Thanks a lot! I wanted to have the feel of authentic medieval walls with high crenellations!

Thanks man! There are leaf-parts directly connected to erling-bricks in the actual wall. Then Ive used stems and t-pieces to connect it all together. Some stems held by friction as well to get the organic and dense feel to it!

Really nice build, great amount of texture and the yellow flowers are the perfect pop of color.

Thanks, yeah its one of my favourite combos for foliage; olive green and bright light orange!
