Wardancer Posted Sunday at 09:25 AM Posted Sunday at 09:25 AM Swordmaster of Greeneth These skilled swordsmen run into battle wielding their giant swords. Customization Notes: Helmet: Aliexpress, plume attached and painted Shield: Cultbricks Cape: CapeMadness metallic Sword: Loongbrick, painted I used Citadel paints for this one covered with Revell semi-glossy. The Citadel color palette is huge, but I am not sure if I will ever switch completely. Cultbricks and Loongbrick are relatively new to me. Cultbricks only makes very small limited batches, so I was only able to buy only 3 of the shields. Now I need 6 more to make a regiment. Bummer. Loongbrick focusses on realistic medieval equipment, but I immediately thought "Swordmasters of Hoeth" when I saw it. Fortunately it reached me without toll fees. Quote
MAB Posted Monday at 10:36 AM Posted Monday at 10:36 AM I like how the plume and helmet have gone together. Did you have to drill the Gondor helmet or remove the point, or is the plume just cut and glued? I thought the sword was the Brick Warriors flamberge at first sight. I'll have to take a look at Loongbrick, I'd never heard of them. Quote
Wardancer Posted Monday at 06:41 PM Author Posted Monday at 06:41 PM Thank you MAB. I just cut off the tip of the helmet with a bit of an angle. Very simple and sturdier than I thought. 8 hours ago, MAB said: I like how the plume and helmet have gone together. Wardancer Posted yesterday at 05:42 PM Author Posted yesterday at 05:42 PM I had great hopes in the new lego gondor helmets, but in the leaked video they look too round for my taste. Quote
