Lord-Wallace Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I'm not sure if it's considered sacrilege amongst hard-core LEGO-ers, but I've always been fond of mixing non-LEGO bits and pieces with actual LEGO bits and pieces. And so, here's the latest incarnation. Quite some time ago, I made my own version of a Series III Land-Rover and it was always my plan to RC it, using the gubbins from the Audi E-tron kit I bought not long after I got back into LEGO building. However, having just put together a 6x6 chassis with fully independent suspension, I rethought that idea and decided to use the RC LEGO stuff for that instead. So, I rebuilt/widened the Land-Rover to fit on an RC car chassis (which I've previously used for LEGO bodied hybrids), turning it from a LWB into a SWB in the process, in order to fit it into scale.
