[MOC] A Clash of S/Words

This was built for the ’Rock, Paper, Scissors’-category of Brickscalibur 2025

I new in advance that I wanted to build a japanese setting for Brickscalibur this year. I also instantly wanted to do something for the game of rock/paper/scissor’s-analogy. I ended up with this build: A scholar’s words (paper) vs the soldiers swords (scissors). I’d like to imagine his works floating down the river to another receiver.

”The teachings of the hermit, peaceful scholar felt as a growing threat to the ruling feudal lord. Challenging the old ways with new ideas spreading across the ’Valley of the falling leaves’. A clash, putting the saying ’parchment mightier than the sword’ to the test. You can kill a man, but ideas can live forever”.
