Hello, I dont know if i posted this in the right sort of topic, but i came across this piece wich looks like a 820, but it is red and some people say that it is super rare and others says that it is from set 1235 but it dosent seem to be in red even though it seems like it. I just need help to like confirm what kind of piece this is.

I am certainly no expert here, but perhaps it isn't genuine LEGO?  Other good images I can find show the logo on the studs, no texture on the centre ramp and a cleaner definition with the gaps around the press "spring" latch, for the door part of the set (and of course, so far only in white or light grey).

Or... just very early LEGO??  Found an image of a box showing a "hand drawn" red base, linking back to this forum :pir-tongue: (scroll nearly to the bottom of the page)

Nor am I.

But yes, this seems to be ancient ;)

And in ancient times, not all LEGO pieces had LEGO logos on their studs. Hmmm ... @1974 or @LEGO Historian would know ...

Nice find!!!

For those not wanting to scroll :pir-wink:, here is what @LEGO Historian Gary said, particularly with regard to the missing LEGO logos on the studs:

(Citation from that post, @Ga6704 mentioned) "Here is a very rare 1960s garage baseplate... (Bricklink part 820)... only found in white and gray in the 1960s... a red test strike.  They made this piece as a regular item in red from 1955-57, and those can sell up to $200 each (in mint).  This is the only 1960s version known (this one has LEGO on the studs, the earlier one does not)... and as this is the only known piece, this could easily be bid up to $500 or more at auction... if it ever came up for sale."

So yeah, it could be rather valuable. :pir-huzzah2:
