"Strike Fear into the Heart of the Rebellion with the Imperial Dropship Transport!”

The Build Design
 The design is that of the Imperial Dropship Transport (IDT for short) which first appeared in The Force Unleashed videogame. Being a fan of TFU (The Force Unleashed), it was bothersome that more sets were not created around it; the dropship transport being one of them. Though other renditions of a 'dropship' were created, however none like this one in particular. Capturing its unique shape was a challenge in itself while adhering to structural detail and keeping it minifigure scale with incorporation of play features.

The Play Features

• The dropship cockpit is spacious enough to seat a total of three minifigures; two seats for your pilots and a middle seat for a V.I.P of your choice!
• Folding ramps on either side allowing access to the internal trooper bay
• The empty internal trooper bay comfortably holds up to ten battle-ready stormtroopers! (we can always fit more...)
• Spring loaded shooters are located next to the main wing cannons! (which are always too much fun)
• A Swooshing handle! (enough said...)
• Either side has bar space to mount a heavy blaster for extra firepower or a searchlight to find hiding rebels!
• Alternating wing positions activated by a hidden gear switch mechanism
• Rear compartment door opens revealing a holding space for any of the Battle-Builds specifically constructed for this dropship! 
• "Ready the necessary armaments for the upcoming mission!"

The Battle-Builds
 While already looking like a winged nightmare, this dropship was designed to deliver more to support your troops on the battlefront! Each 'battle-build' was carefully constructed to fit snuggly and securely into the rear compartment for easy deployment. Each build supports your troops in their unique mission.  

• Arm the ground forces with extra blasters from the rifle rack, which can hold an assortment of blasters!
• Unleash extra firepower using the portable heavy cannon, show them the Empire doesn't mess around!
• Beef up your troopers with the specialized gear such as backpacks, heavy blasters and detonators!
• Deploy the speeder and scout the battlefront, featuring accessory clips to hold blaster and binoculars!
• Bring aid to the injured with a medical bay that holds bacta and extract them from the warzone!

OVERALL
 Parts of the process proved to be a challenge, however that's what LEGO is all about; to challenge oneself into creating what does not exist, starting with a single piece and creative spirit. Regardless it was quite pleasing and thrilling with how the final results turned out.
