nopingrid Posted November 10 Posted November 10 After my midi Venator, I wanted to build an Acclamator in the same scale. This was quite a challenge as it is quite small, so some details were very difficult to implement. The official Lego set has many flaws, such as the front stripe not being angled down. Therefore, the side panels of my model had to be built separately using a ball joint in order to be stable. I also managed to include greebling in the rear section which is not present on the official model, and also optional landing gears for my MOC. Here are some pictures of the Acclamator and Venator together: Comparison between MOC and official set: A few more shots of the model: Instructions on Brickvault if interested! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Simply gorgeous! The tail thrusters are fantastic and seeing the two spaceships side by side gives a perfect sense of proportion between the two models! Quote
Hollander Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Beautiful! Both of them. I think these smaller scale ships are my favorite. Quote
