Lego Fairground Turbo Polyp

Hello! I'm new and very interested in reviving my old passion for building Lego fairground attractions with Technic Lego. A few years ago, I stumbled upon this thread https://www.lowlug.nl/forum/index.php?thread/15159-lego-technic-turbo-polyp-remasterd/ and have been following it with admiration. Some things are difficult for a layman to understand, but perhaps one of the forum members here has the perfect solution! I'd like to build a polyp with rotating arms, rotating crosses, and moving arms, just like in the thread above. Does anyone happen to have a readable drawing, or can make one, of the center section? The large gears that rotate in opposite directions over each other? And does anyone have experience with drag links, so that a motor could perhaps be built into the crosses instead of using the center section? I'd love to see any tips and tricks. Thanks in advance.
