“Today we’ve got two awesome new releases for you in our Control & Automation category 🥳

On November 7th, we’re adding the brand-new Switch Controller to our lineup!

It’s a universal device that lets you control the original switches using the same Powered Up remote you already use for your trains.

Our Switch Controller also works perfectly with the Powered Up Mobile App, so you can manage your switches right from your phone 🤳

And on November 14th, get ready for the launch of the All-In-One Controller 2.0!

The new version of the All-In-One Controller lets you remotely control switches, signals, and barriers using your Powered Up remote, the Powered Up Mobile App, or even in automatic mode that is 100% compatible with the currently offered All-In-One Controller.

With their compact design, built-in rechargeable batteries, and super easy setup, our devices are the perfect solution for anyone who wants smooth and convenient control of their train layout 🏗️

TrixBrix has this YouTube video showing that the All-In-One Controller 2.0 can be linked to each other, the switch controller as well as a powered up hub.

It seems they have done a really good job. 👍

Today I received a huge package with lots of Trixbrix stuff and tomorrow I will check it thoroughly 😎

The only thing I had the chance to see is how small the trixbrix servo motor switches are (9 of them) and I am really eager to see how these will work with the all in one controller 2.0

I really hope the new controller allows more independent switches operation than the old one, while I still have to figure out how to automate the triple TB switch 🥶

Good job TB team! 👌

TrixBrix posted on their Facebook page:

Due to technical issues, we regret to say that we need to put the launch of the All-In-One Controller 2.0 on hold. We kindly ask for your patience.

I’m still anxious to learn more about the Alll-In-Controller 2.0.

I had a thought that it would be cool if they added outputs on their switch controllers for signals.

Yes and in Instagram they were kind enough to explain even further:

"We’ve found an issue with the batteries and need to sort it out."

It is really nice that they respect customers and keep working on any issues that pop up even if that means delays.

Still, i would love to have at least a product page with the controllers capabilities so that i plan my layout accordingly.

BTW, based on their initial announcement the following regarding SIGNALS applies (signals operation is shown in 2.0 controller video):

"The new version of the All-In-One Controller lets you remotely control switches, signals, and barriers using your Powered Up remote, the Powered Up Mobile App, or even in automatic mode that is 100% compatible with the currently offered All-In-One Controller."

And this explains the 6+1 ports the new controller has,  despite having bluetooth connection.

It’s been a month since TrixBrix was supposed to release the all in one controller and there really hasn’t been any update from them. I’m wondering if it’s still coming.

Technically, I find the new hubs from Trixbrix really exciting and am curious to see what can be done with them.

I don't think the application directly at the switch is very well designed: too high, too close to the track. This causes problems with long carriages.

With 1 Lego PU battery box you can have 2 ports for 2 switches for example, which makes this  a better and cheaper  way. You only have to build the switch mechanism, not that difficult.

I know, and I've already done that:

Weichenbereich mit Fahrdienstleiter

I was more concerned about the less-than-ideal ready-made solution from TrixBrix. There could have been more to it...
