Ladies, gentlemen, those inbetween and those of none. Its been a good while since I've posted anything on here but today I would like to present to you my Chornobyl Prypiat city sign diorama.



I created this model in 2022 after wanting to build more System models following 3 decades of Technic building. Having been obsessed with everything Chornobyl related and having visited the Zone in 2019, I wanted my first proper System model to be something Chornobyl related thus I designed and recreated the famous Prypiat city sign. 



Since completing it, I have exhibited it at almost 20 different brick shows all over the UK, from the Bristol Brick Show, the Great Western Brick Show and even Bricktastic in Manchester (the biggest brick show in the UK) and between all the shows I've displayed it over, it has been seen by over half a million people from across the UK.

Model details:
Designed and built in 2022,
Number of parts: 2093,
Dimensions: 61 studs (49cm) wide, 32 stud (26cm) deep, 21 studs (17cm) high,
Weight: 1891 grams,
Letters and arrow sections can be removed for easy transport. It took around 10 minutes to assemble it once at a brick show.

Earlier this year, after the Black Country Brick Show, I decided to retire this model from public exhibition. I took it out to Canada with me and gave it to my good friend Kari, in Ontario.

Over the last year, I have been in contact with the tour company I used when I visited the Chornobyl Zone and you can now purchase the instructions for the model exclusively from Chornobyl Shop. 100% of the money goes to supporting them during these tough times so they can restart tour operations when russia is defeated and so they can continue telling the story of Chornobyl for future generations. Note, I do not recieve a penny/cent from any sales of these instructions.
