dglacet Posted September 3 Posted September 3 (edited) Quote Once again, the world is in danger. And once again, warriors of the gold dragon order are there to fight against evil. This time, an old lich has found a way to raise an army from the dead. But not content with recruiting soldiers form the graves, she managed to awaken an ancient dragon, waking him from his eternal sleep to march on the city. Fortunately, the members of the Gold Dragon Order answer the call, aided in their fight by the powerfull wizard : Elminster! General overview of the diorama : The battle between the dragon and the wizard promises to be epic! Will you find him? Edited September 3 by dglacet Quote
Feuer Zug Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Great diorama. The army of the undead with the skeletal dragon is great. Lots of details, to include the thatching on the roof. Everything is great, except the lava. That seems a bit bland, even with Gollum's hand sticking out. Maybe add another layer with some trans-orange pieces? Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Beautiful scene, I like the skeletal demon and the river of lava flowing below! Quote

Yes, that possibility (trans orange pieces) was in my mind, but the amount of needed pieces wasn't in my stock But I'll try, in the future, to have a better rendition for the lava. As soon as it's done, I'll post pictures of the update here. Quote
Triceron Posted September 4 Posted September 4 (edited) Love the diorama! Fantastic bone dragon, too. I love seeing giant fantasy creatures. I had a similar idea going on when I got my hands on the Skull Sorcerer's Dragon, and noticed your dragon's head has a lot of similar ideas to what I had made. Edited September 4 by Triceron Quote
Rjbricks Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Love it. Lots of nice touches, especially Gollum and the scattered remnants of broken skeletons. Quote
Elysiumfountain Posted September 13 Posted September 13 WOW! Stunning job, especially on the dragon! There's just so much going on that I could spend a lot of time finding new details I previously missed. Great job! Quote
Seagull King of Vaughan Posted September 14 Posted September 14 As said by others, amazing skeleton dragon! This is a great combination of the various minifigures as well. I love all the dragonborn fighters! Quote
