World event calendar?

I've noticed there are many annual or otherwise regularly occurring events in the LEGO community: SHIPtember, Frogust, the fairs, conventions etc, and special days. But is there a world calendar somewhere? I looked but couldn't find anything. Perhaps there is a good reason for that?
