[MOC] 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser Ultimate Playset

Let's face it: the Imperial Light Cruiser LEGO 75315 set is neither a good display set, nor is it a good playset. But it is at least... a good starting point for both options ;-)

With this MOC I present my modifications to turn the original LEGO set into the Ultimate playset version, In order to achieve this I heavily modified the complete ship. Here are some of the changes:

• 3 new rooms and a small hallway (Dark Trooper storage room, prisoner cell and an engine room at the back)   
• additional lids to gain access to all the new internal areas
• lengthening of the nose, now with TV show accurate design 
• adding the missing 4 small engines at the back 
• adding the completly missing bottom section including landing gear 
• additional cosmetic changes all over, to make the ship more accurate to the TV show    

The only thing that got lost, is the play feature to be able to "jumpstart" the included TIE fighters. I did not do this on purpose, but this "feature" of the LEGO set simply collides with the needed modifications to be able to lengthen the nose properly.
