IORY 3527 - Indiana & Ohio EMD GP38-2

I have been working on transforming BrickTrainDepot's EMD GP60 into an Indiana & Ohio Railroad EMD GP38-2, specifically engine #3527. This engine pulls local freight trains on the spurs around my neighborhood twice a week.

I have reached the stage where I am satisfied with what I have, and will start ordering bricks. Decals will be needed to complete the look as well. Here is what I have so far:

Nice work, and that could easily be transferred to so many G&W lines. Too bad that this part is not available in orange for the number boards.

Glancing at the pilots, your build looks like it has footboards while the prototype has plows. Have you thought about using cheese slopes to make more of a plow appearance?

There are a few more pieces I wish existed in regular Orange. You might notice that the side grill uses a 2x2 slope convex, for which I picked Bright Light Orange, as it doesn't come in Orange (yet).

I am still making a few tweaks - the plows are next on my list. Thanks for the suggestion!

It’s looking really good. I have a GP loco on my list to build at some point in the next year or so so might borrow a bit from this when I get to it.

First attempt at the plow. I have placed an order for the old snowshoes to see if I can make this work IRL.

Very well made model, and the livery is attractive with orange, yellow, and black! 

The only part I would modify is the fuel tank under the main body, filling the gap between the curved slopes so that everything looks connected.

Quite the rendition of the GP38-2. The colors really work well. Can't wait to see it in brick form.

I think I am settling for this plow design. Some inaccuracies, but the snowshoe technique didn't work out as planned.

Nice. I've been trying to get the G&W scheme to look good in 6 wide, I'm looking forward to seeing your final product here.
