Sogenius106 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) Hi everyone. This is my moc of a stylized beehive, called The Beehive. The main shape was inspired by the LEGO beehive element 6207256. I kind of wanted to create an upscaled, real-life version of that element. The Beehive can be opened to reveal the bees inside, where they are surrounded by honey. It's created using a layered ring approach. Kind of like those stackable ring children's toys. I always like to add some interactivity/play to my builds. So in this one you can make the bees move and fly. 🐝 This MOC has also been uploaded to LEGO Ideas, currently at 8178/10,000 with 31 days left (as of July 8th 2025): https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/aab23abb-90e2-4e93-9403-b4196a81d705 There is also a Queen Bee, made noticeable by her blue coloration. She is in her own area where she is producing eggs. What The Beehive looks like closed. There are two knobs, one on either half of the beehive. Turning them spins bees inside, and by spinning the top you can make multiple bees fly around. This MOC is also supposed to raise awareness and appreciation for these wonderful creatures. 🐝 Edited Sunday at 07:19 PM by Sogenius106 title Quote

Elysiumfountain Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I love this one! I supported it a bit back, and I can't remember which number I was, but I hope it can make it to the 10k before time runs out! :) Quote
