Help with parts for son to build space station

Hello.

My son wants to build a Lego space station he saw in a Lego book.  It’s not part of set but doesn’t tell you how to build it. I would like to buy all the parts for his birthday. I have reached out to Lego customer services who have provided me for links for 4 of the parts but said it’s tricky to figure out anything else and recommended I ask a Lego forum. So I was wondering if anyone can help.

I would suggest to download Stud.io. You can then help him virtually build it and order the parts via Bricklink shops close to you. That is how I would do it at least.

While I was waiting on data samples coming in of my research I did some WIP (Work in Progress):

If I need to wait on more samples I might have a chance to enhance it. You can open it with stud.io (BrickLink software). If you make an account there (soon it will be merged with your LEGO.com account), you can also order it via de stud.io software b.t.w. It is always tricky to get the best deal but in your case I would advice to use UK BrickLink shops.

That is at least already a good start I think. Probably those designers made it in some other way, but this is how I would make it.

That Space Station looks good on image but as a playset it is not right direction. I would probably buy CITY/Space 2022, 2024, 2025 -sets.
