Celebrimbor's Workshop

Built for MELO (Middle Earth Lego Olympics) on Discord.

Celebrimbor is hard at work in Eregion crafting rings. Little did he know that in the future he would play party to Sauron's plan to forge rings to enslave the races of Middle Earth.

Loosely based off the set from Rings of Power Season 2. I'm not a huge fan nor hater of the show. The Eregion set really impressed me so I wanted to build something using some of that aesthetic. I wanted to do so much more with this MOC, but I ran out of time. For fun I included a number of Belville pieces including the thatched windows, dishes, and silver buckets with handles.

Great work! As was mentioned about the pillars, they are really cool with how they flow into the floor.

I've been holding off, but this build looks so good that it makes me curious to check out the show

I'm a huge Tolkien fan. I had read the books multiple times before the movies came out. And I've read the Silmarillion a few times too. That said, Rings of Power is just okay. Season 1 was certainly beyond what Tolkien would have envisioned, but at least stayed within the spirit of what he wrote. Season 2 really started to throw Tolkien lore out the window.

It's okay for what it is, but it falls short in many ways. What I love is seeing the sets because that just brings Middle Earth to life in amazing ways. The story, not so much, but the setting helps make up for it.

Looks great.  I like the usage of the Rivendell floor tiles in a new pattern, columns look cool too (as does everything else)
