Hello all,

I'm new here but I hope I picked the right forum for this. I recently came into possession of a rather unusual vintage LEGO set and would appreciate help assessing its rarity and estimated value.

The set is a sealed 1972 LEGO 600-3 Ambulance (as listed on BrickLink: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=600-3 ,) which appears to be a promotional edition distributed by Kreissparkasse, a German bank, for World Savings Day that year. It is still factory sealed but the box has some minor creasing, see pictures: https://imgur.com/a/64X4jQX

I couldn't find any active listings on BrickLink nor active or sold listings on eBay (only standard 600 sets).

  • Has anyone seen one of these sell recently (or at all)?

  • Any ballpark idea of value?

Thanks in advance for your insights and happy to provide additional photos or context if needed :)

Edit: Oooops... I may have misinterpreted what the "historic" in this forum is actually about...
