After the destruction of Death Star, Empire soon began deploying ground forces on Yavin 4 to capture the Rebel base. Even though the majority of the Rebel leadership and fighters were able to evacuate, small bands of Rebel commandos stayed behind to delay the Imperial forces as much as possible.
